Biography
Jose Barragan is Vice President Central Technical Services at ACWA Power with more than 15 years of experience in the renewable sector. He joined ACWA Power in 2014 and has had the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the company’s Renewable portfolio. Prior to this, Jose has worked in Abengoa Solar for 9 years. He has a strong technical background in Renewable projects whole life cycle; from innovation to development, execution and operation. Jose started his career in Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) technology, developing several GWe worldwide and has extended his expertise to Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind technologies. Jose is passionate about renewable technologies and is focused on the development of sustainable energy solutions to mitigate the impact of Climate Change.
