Pierre Chatenay has 7 years’ experience in renewable energies with 2 years at Masdar Abu Dhabi, 2 years at Engie Solar and 2 years in Australia with Canadian Solar and BayWa r.e..

Pierre works as an Asset Operation Manager for EDF Renewables Middle East. He overlooks the O&M activities and proposes solutions to boost the assets performance and maximize profitability of the renewable energy assets in the MENA region.

He is the technology referent for cleaning robot solutions where he analyses which solution would be the best fit for each plant and optimizes the cleaning strategy once the solution is implemented. He is also the technology referent for PV modules where he defines the strategy for testing and analyses the results to increase performance as well as making sure that the module’s degradation level are within acceptable levels.
