McGill University, Canada

Bandar AlOtaibi was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and master degree in Applied Science from Concordia University, Montreal (Canada), in 2008 and 2011, respectively. At McGill University, he started detailed investigation on the photoelectrochemical hydrogen generation and CO2 reduction using metal-nitride nanowires. His research covers the design of nanostructured photoelectrodes and photocatalysts, materials synthesis and characterizations, photoelectrochemical evaluations and CO2 reduction experimentation. He is interested in a broad area of semiconductors physics and electrochemistry for solar-powered artificial photosynthesis applications.
