Research Interests

Dr. Aydin’s major research interests are directed towards the Silicon-Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells, in particular, light management by bandstructure engineering of the electron and hole transport layers and device engineering. In addition, my research is focused on the full processing and optimization of cost-efficient, environmentally benign and long-lived top cells for efficient bottom cells. I have also studies on the design of nanomaterials based electrodes for photoelectrochemical solar water splitting and PV-electrolysis applications.
