Shahidul Alam, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Fellows

Postdoctoral Fellow in Laquai group

Research Interest

Shahidul’s research interests are charge transport in organic semiconductors, device performance, and stability of solution-processed polymer solar cells. He focuses on understanding the degradation mechanism of organic and perovskite solar cells upon aging and investigates potentials losses. He is also working towards the surface and interface engineering by tuning the charge transport layer and controlling aggregation and crystallinity in bulk-heterojunction to improve device performance and stability.
