Physical Science and Engineering Division (PSE):

Is one of the three academic divisions of KAUST. It focuses on matter at all scales and forms with the goal to understand the matter and its interaction with external stimuli. This knowledge will be transformed into new technologies to address or even solve the great challenges of the world today. Biological and Environmental Science and Engineering (BESE):

Research in the BESE Division is focused on the molecular and cellular mechanisms through which organisms sense, adapt and respond to the environment and the development of innovative technologies.
