The "KAUST Research Conference: Sustainable Energy Materials and Technologies for a Low Carbon Future" will be held from March 20-22, 2023 in the auditorium between Building 4 and 5 on the KAUST campus.
Solar PV has a critical role to play in the transition to a low-carbon economy. The coupling of new materials and technologies with sustainable methods of energy storage is an important challenge. The primary aim of this conference is to bring the solar fuel and PV communities together to discuss the latest results and scientific challenges, as well as to explore synergies and opportunities to move the technology forward. Machine Learning/Artificial Leaning topics will also be a key focus of the event to facilitate potential collaborations and spearhead development.
The technical program will be held from Monday, March 20 to Wednesday, March 22, 2023. The conference program will also present an opportunity for Ph.D. students and postdocs to present their research work in a poster presentation on the evening of Monday, March 20, 2023 in the University Library.
Conference Chairs: Professors Martin Heeney, Thomas Anthopoulos and Xu Lu.
This event is organized by KAUST Solar Center (KSC) with financial support from KAUST Research Funding (KRF).
