Where will the summer school lectures be held?
The KSC Summer School lectures will take place at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), in
Al-Kindi Building
(Bldg 5), Level 3, Room 5220
KAUST is located in Thuwal, which is one hour north of Jeddah. Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) is accessible from many main international flight hubs, including Frankfurt, London, New York and Washington D.C.

KAUST Solar Center is looking for talented participants with a interest in a career in Solar Energy conversion. Additionally, KAUST policy requires that applicants meet their general admission requirements, including a minimum cGPA of 3.3/4.00 or equivalent.
Will I receive a certificate at the end of the summer school?
Yes. Students who attend all the lectures will be awarded KSC attendance certificate.
What should I wear at KAUST?
July at KAUST is likely to be hot and sunny. Smart casual attire is required at the summer school. Women do not have to wear an abaya but should be dressed in conservative clothing (arms and legs covered).
Will my photos be taken?
Photos may be taken throughout the event which may be used on our website or other KAUST social media. If you have any objections to your image being used, please ensure you advise the admin team.
