Eid Alahmari graduated as a Mechanical engineer from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM).

He has been working at Sabic for the last 20 years in an array of roles that include maintenance, operations, engineering, and projects.

Eid has held executive roles in SABIC since 2017. In 2021, he assumed the role of President of SABIC Terminal Services Limited Company (Sabtank: one of SABIC's affiliate companies.)

In June 2022, he joined the ministry of energy as a General Manager for Business Development and Infrastructure under the localization deputyship. In this role, he is working closely with relevant stakeholders in the public and private sectors to identify localization opportunities and maximize the local content contribution in all energy sectors.
