Biography

Mohammed Atif is an Economist and Area Manager; over the years he has successfully positioned DNV as the leading Energy Transition Advisory supporting multi-GWs of high-impact projects in MEA and has a specific focus in the UAE and KSA. The entire energy value chain is covered from hydrocarbons and CCS strategies through to renewables, energy storage deployment & green hydrogen; intelligent networks, and sustainable end-use. He regularly contributes to thought leadership; attends high-level forums; and frequently contributes to various publications.

Mohammed Atif has supported customers at CEO, Executive Leadership, and Ministerial level across the region specifically in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, and Pakistan across multiple business segments. He has driven a strategic long-term vision for the market as well as strengthening the practice development and processes within the region. His corporate focus is on human centricity, inspiration, and collaboration. From a global development perspective, significant collaboration and engagements have been undertaken with the multi-lateral funding institutions to drive the SDGs.

Mohammed Atif enjoys continued learning and over the last three years completed five executive modules in Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, IoT, Smart Cities & Algorithmic Business Thinking with MIT Sloan School of Management.
