Biography
Dr. Dirk Jordan is a Distinguished Member of Research Staff at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Colorado, USA. He has been investigating PV performance, reliability and degradation of modules and systems for 15 years. Prior to joining NREL, he worked at Motorola for 8 years on the research and commercialization of diverse technologies such as III-V electronics, high-k dielectrics, and carbon nanotube-based displays. In 2005, he became a Six Sigma Black Belt, a data-driven methodology to improve processes, reduce defects and improve quality. He received a Ph.D. in physics from Arizona State University and a B.S. in physics from the University of Heidelberg, Germany.
