Dr. Fertig studied electrical engineering and information technology with the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and performed his Ph.D. in photovoltaics with Fraunhofer ISE, Freiburg, Germany. Previous research experience include work at the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia; the Research and Technology Center of Robert Bosch LLC, Palo Alto, CA, USA; and SolarWorld Industries America, Hillsboro, OR, USA. Dr. Fertig joined Hanwha Q CELLS in 2016, and his current role is Director of R&D Wafer & Cells.
