Dr. Rui Wang is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering, Westlake University. He received his bachelor's degree (2015) and master's degree (2016) in materials science and engineering from Jilin University and University of California, Berkeley, respectively. He then joined Prof. Yang Yang's group at the University of California, Los Angeles, and received his Ph.D. degree in 2019. Dr. Rui Wang's research focuses on the advanced fabrication and characterization of high-efficiency and stable third-generation photovoltaics, and he has published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers as first or corresponding author in prestigious journals such as Nature, Science, Nature Photonics, etc. He was selected as Forbes China and Asia Pacific 30 under 30 and MIT Technology Reviews Innovators under 35 (2022).
