Post-doctoral Fellow, KAUST
Sofiia Kosar is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the KAUST Photovoltaics Laboratory (KPV-LAB). She obtained her PhD from Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology in 2022 where she employed time-resolved photoemission electron microscopy to image nanoscale defect clusters in metal halide perovskites. In 2023 Sofiia joined Prof. Stefaan De Wolf’s KPV-LAB where she continues employing imaging characterization to explore microstructure of MHPs. In particular, she is interested in linking the microstructure of MHP films prepared using scalable fabrication methods with macroscale performance and durability of large area perovskite solar cells.
