Congratulations to Prize Winners of KAUST Research Conference: Synergistic Approaches in Solar Energy Conversion

06 March, 2018

During the recent KAUST Research Conference: Synergistic Approaches in Solar Energy Conversion two independent juries selected four young scientists as prize winners for their outstanding contributions. Our congratulations go to:

Yanwei Lum, University of California, Berkeley, winner of the KAUST Industry Collaboration Program's Young Speaker Award for his talk "Electrochemical Reduction of CO2 to Multicarbon Hydrocarbons and Oxygenates"

Ghada Ahmed, KAUST, winner of the Nature Energy Young Speaker Award for her talk "Pyridine-Induced Dimensionality Change in Hybrid Perovskite Nanocrystals"

Marina Gandini, Instituto Italiano di Technilogia, winner of the RSC's Sustainable Energy & Fuels' Poster Prize for her poster "Strongly Emissive Perovskite Nanocrystal Inks For High Efficiency Cesium Lead Bromide-Based Solar Cells"

Michele De Bastiani, KAUST, winner of the RSC's Energy & Environmental Science's Poster Prize for his poster "Ions, charge accumulation, and transient currents: Dynamics beyond hysteresis in perovskite solar cells"

KAUST Solar Center would like to thank all the members of the juries and the sponsors of the prizes for their generous support.
