At the 2016 MRS Fall Meeting and Exhibit that was held on November 27 – December 2 in Boston, some of KAUST students and postdoctoral fellows had an opportunity to attend and contribute in the poster presentation.
Maha Ahmed Alamoudi from Prof. Laquai's group contributed a poster titled "Photo physical Processes in Polymer:Non-fullerene Small Molecule Acceptor Bulk Heterojunctions for Organic Solar Cells". At the poster presentation session that took place on December 1, Maha won the best poster award.
"I had the great opportunity to attend an international conference and contribute with a poster presentation for the very first time, so it was a special and exciting moment for me. I was very motivated to make a good effort and was looking forward to gain good experience as well. This achievement is a great honor for me as MRS meetings are considered being one of the largest scientific events in material science." – Maha
Congratulations Maha for this achievement!
