Prof. Osman Bakr awarded as this year’s Innovator under 35 in the Arab World

​We are pleased to announce that Prof. Osman Bakr was among the five winning Innovators under 35 in the Arab World this year.  The award was presented by MIT Technology Review Arab Editionduring the conference titled “Time to Invest in Arab Youth and Their Innovations” held at Bay La Sun Hotel & Marina, King Abdullah Economic City, KSA on April 14.

MIT Technology Review is a bimonthly magazine published by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It was founded in 1899 and is the world’s longest-running technology magazine. MIT Technology Review's global list of 35 young innovators was established in 1999. The annual list recognizes outstanding innovators who are younger than 35. The awards span a wide range of fields, including biotechnology, materials, computer hardware, energy, transportation, communications, and the Web. Starting 2010, they launched regional editions of the Innovators under 35.
