Congratulations to Ahmed Balawi, Esma Ugur, Emilie Dauzon and Yazeed Al Harbi who won the People’s Choice Award for their video entered in “Science as Story Telling” during KAUST’s Winter Enrichment Program 2018.

To contribute effectively to social debates and decision making it is critical that scientists can convey their research in meaningful or moving way for a general audience. In the Science as Story Telling sessions, KAUST’s young scientists learn the latest technology and techniques for visual science communication, including exciting new developments for the role of artificial intelligence, virtual/augmented reality, and data-driven storytelling techniques in visual communication and how to produce effective narratives.
