Our congratulations to Prof. Iain McCulloch who has again been included in Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers annual list. Remarkably, in 2018 he has once again achieved the accolade of being listed in the fields of both of Chemistry and Materials Science.

Clarivate state: “This list recognizes world-class researchers selected for their exceptional research performance, demonstrated by production of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in Web of Science.”

Professor McCulloch's research interests are in the design and synthesis of semiconducting small molecules and polymers for use in organic electronic devices.  This work has focused on understanding and  control of microstructure and energy levels in conjugated aromatic semiconducting polymers and the subsequent impact on device properties.
