King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has reaffirmed its commitment to the United Nations’ sustainable development goals in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 which draws on this great nation's intrinsic strengths on its way towards a sustainable future.

In this regard, the first issue of the KAUST Insight magazine has been launched; page 30-31 of which is dedicated to a comprehensive timeline from the first experiments that shed light on the photovoltaic effect to the most efficient and economic devices now available. KAUST Solar Center scientists are proud to contribute to this fascinating field of research where they are working on boosting perovskite solar cell stability and long-term reliability.
