Angstrom Engineering Amod Thermal Evaporators

Brand: Angstrom Engineering

Model: Amod Thermal evaporator

We carry various thin film deposition systems from Angstrom Engineering for thermally depositing a wide range of materials including metals, organic and inorganic small molecules.  The deposition rate is controlled using quartz crystal sensors to ensure consistent, high-quality film formation.

Resistive evaporation is a commonly used vacuum deposition process, in which electrical energy is used to heat a filament to the point of evaporation of the material of interest. The process is typically performed under high vacuum (1e-7 Torr), enabling a long mean free path and therefore low film impurities at relatively high deposition rates. Lower energy particles can reduce substrate damage.

We are using our evaporation systems to deposit metal contacts and metal oxides for solar cell application
