TA Instruments Discovery DSC and TGA

The Discovery TGA features a thermobalance, IR-heated furnace  for temperature up to 1000 °C and an autosampler with good flexibility and reliability. The standard Discovery Gas Delivery Module provides 2-gas switching for atmospheric control. Control and monitoring of TGA experiments works via the user friendly Discovery User Interface.

Differential Scanning Calorimeters (DSC) measures temperatures and heat flows associated with thermal transitions in a material. Common usage includes investigation, selection, comparison and end-use performance evaluation of materials in research, quality control and production applications. Properties measured by TA Instruments' DSC techniques include glass transitions, "cold" crystallization, phase changes, melting, crystallization, product stability, cure / cure kinetics, and oxidative stability. It uses a liquid nitrogen cooling system allowing for a temperature range of -180 to 400 °C.
