Ahmed Mansour, Ph.D.

Alumni and Former Staff

Operations Engineer Current Position: Jr Researcher at Mcgill University

Research Interests

  • Synthesis of graphene and carbon-based materials and comprehensive characterization of their structural, electronic, morphological and electrical transport properties.
  •  Modulation of the electronic, optical and transport properties of graphene based materials via surface non-covalent doping routes, towards application as transparent conducting electrodes in optoelectronic devices and organic photovoltaics.
  • Working with ultrahigh vacuum systems and related deposition and characterization techniques with special interest in photoelectron spectroscopy of materials to characterize core electronic levels via XPS and valence electronic level via UPS.
